Anthony Isaac Goldstein

Birthday: June 5, 1980
Family Background Born to Elijah and Rebecca Goldstein, Anthony is the second of two, and the only boy. His older sister, Amy, is to married Jonathan Bell. The Goldsteins stayed mostly out of the war, save for Anthony who fought with his fellow DA members on the side of Harry Potter.
House: Ravenclaw
Bloodline: Half-blood. Status doesn't matter. We all have the same blood running through our veins.

Description: Tall and gangly, Anthony has a mop of curly brown hair and brown eyes. He's quick with a smile and a small treat for his patients. He can get scruffy when he forgets to shave, but luckily he usually remembers. Like the rest of his body, his hands are large, but don't let that deceive you, they're usually very delicate and have a soft touch. He has a scar on his abdomen from when he fell on on a pile of sharp rocks when he was nine. His left hand has a the faint scar reading I will keep a civil tongue.

Psychology and Personality
Sexuality: Females need only apply. Only place he discriminates. Sorry guys.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Anthony is perpetually optimistic and good tempered. He's a morning person. His sunny personality and wanting to help everyone can lead him to getting taken advantage of. He takes his oath to do no harm very seriously, and will treat anyone, no matter blood status or criminal status. Even former Death Eaters deserve fair health care as it is not up to Anthony as to what their fate might be. He's very rarely selfish, to the point of being selfless, which can be detrimental to his own quality of life. He's been known to take on too much on his plate and often doesn't know how to ask for help for himself. If it's offered, however, he will readily accept it if he feels that it's needed.
Habits\Quirks: Every other Wednesday night and Saturday morning, he offers clinic hours at a reduced rate. Even then he'll barter goods and services in lieu of money. He's a very poor cook who usually ends up living on pieces of fruit and buttered toast, even if that is not the most healthy diet ever. He loves sunrises, but hates sunsets. Prefers the forest to the beach. He leaves the wireless on, even when he's not in the room, because he doesn't like the sound of silence and likes the false atmosphere of having people around him. He's left handed.
Likes\Dislikes: Likes watching the sunrise, butterscotch biscuits, dry martinis, and a well fitted suit. Dislikes rude people, mint, unnecessary mess, and women wearing too much perfume.

History from student days at Hogwarts to the present time:

Birth to Hogwarts
Born to Elijah and Rebecca Goldstein, Anthony has one older sister, Amy. He is a halfblood, as both his parents were muggleborn. Anthonly grew up at Glaswer Hall, an Elizabethan Manor House, owned by the National Trust, for which both his parents worked as curators/conservators/caretakers. Raised in the Jewish faith, after his Bar Mitzvah during the summer between his second and third year, he lapsed into a sort of cultural secularism, which served him well up through his seventh year.

Hogwarts
In 1991, the same year as Harry Potter, Anthony was sorted into Ravenclaw, following his older sister, Amy. He got along well with the rest of his yearmates, eventually becoming a prefect in his fifth year. He joined the DA that year as well, when it became painfully clear that they weren't learning anything useful in class. He remained at Hogwarts During his seventh year, chose to take part in the active student resistance as well as participating in the Final Battle mainly by assisting Madam Pomfrey, where he saw too many of his classmates get hurt and some of them losing their lives. After obtaining his NEWT scores, he enrolled in the healing program at St. Mungos.

After Hogwarts to Now
He enjoyed his course at the Wizarding hospital, choosing to become a general practitioner rather than having a specialty. Anthony remained at the Hospital for a few years after finishing his course before moving on to a smaller, private practice in another part of London. While there he continued his role as gatekeeper to the specialists, enjoying getting to know patients and becoming part of their lives. He remained there, for a few more years, before moving on and founding his own practice, Linley Road Healing, in a formerly run down townhouse in London that he bought and renovated with the help of his parents and his trust fund set up by his grandparents.

He lives in the above flat, deemed the Quack Shack by a tipsy Mandy. In the years since Hogwarts, Anthony has found himself doing a bit of soul searching, trying to reconcile the events of his last three years at Hogwarts with how he views the world. He has found something in the faith of his ancestors, but hasn't completely embraced all its teachings. He has, however, dedicated himself to doing at least one good deed a day to make up for some of the horrors inflicted on the world.
